Meet Your San Francisco Bay Area Photographer

Hey, I'm Tatiana!

I'm a professional photographer based in the San Francisco Bay Area, specializing in family portraits, wedding photography, and business headshots. With over 15 years behind the camera and three kids of my own, I know exactly how to capture authentic moments — even when toddlers won't sit still!

Before photography, I spent 20 years as a professional dancer and choreographer. This unique background gives me an expert eye for posing, movement, and body language — so you'll always look natural and confident in your photos, never awkward or stiff.

My approach is simple: real moments, real connections, zero forced smiles. Whether you need stunning wedding photos at Golden Gate Park, natural family portraits at Berkeley Marina, or a polished LinkedIn headshot, I'm here to make the experience fun and stress-free.

Frequently Asked Questions About Bay Area Photography

Everything you need to know about booking a professional photo session in San Francisco and the Bay Area

Where do you offer photography services in the Bay Area?

I photograph throughout the entire San Francisco Bay Area, including San Francisco, Oakland, Berkeley, Marin County, the Peninsula (Palo Alto, San Mateo, Redwood City), South Bay (San Jose, Los Gatos, Saratoga), and the East Bay (Walnut Creek, Danville, Pleasanton, Fremont). I'm happy to travel to your preferred location — whether it's an iconic spot like Golden Gate Park, Baker Beach, or Crissy Field, or a more intimate setting like your backyard or a local neighborhood park. Travel within 20 miles is included; beyond that, a small travel fee applies.

How much does a family photo session cost in San Francisco?

My family photography sessions in San Francisco and the Bay Area start at 350 for a 25-30 minute session with 10 professionally edited images. The most popular Premium package (490) includes a full hour, 15 edited photos, and works great for extended families up to 10 people. For multi-generational family portraits or sessions at multiple locations, the Legacy package (1,190) offers up to 2 hours of coverage. All sessions include a pre-session consultation and my exclusive style guide to help you prepare.

What if my kids won't cooperate during the photo session?

As a mom of three, I've seen it all — tantrums, shy moments, endless energy, and everything in between! I come prepared with bubbles, puppets, and plenty of tricks to get genuine smiles. My secret? I don't force kids to "sit still and smile." Instead, I capture them being themselves — running, laughing, playing. Some of my clients' favorite photos are the candid moments when kids forget the camera is even there. My relaxed, playful approach works wonders even with the most camera-shy little ones.

Do you photograph weddings and engagements in the Bay Area?

Yes! I offer wedding photography and engagement sessions throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and Northern California wine country (Napa, Sonoma). My wedding packages start at 1800 for intimate ceremonies and elopements. I specialize in capturing authentic, emotional moments — the first look, the happy tears, the dance floor celebrations. Popular Bay Area wedding venues I've photographed include Golden Gate Club, Presidio, Berkeley City Club, and numerous Napa Valley wineries. Engagement sessions are a wonderful way to get comfortable in front of my camera before your big day!

How do I book a professional headshot or business portrait?

My professional headshot sessions are perfect for LinkedIn profiles, company websites, and personal branding. Sessions start at 350 and can be done at my studio, your office, or an outdoor location in San Francisco or the Bay Area. I provide posing guidance throughout — my background as a choreographer means I know exactly how to help you look confident and approachable, not stiff or awkward. Most clients receive 3-5 final retouched images within 5 business days. I also offer corporate team photography for companies needing consistent headshots for their entire staff.

What should we wear for our family photo session?

I send every client my exclusive style guide after booking! The key is to coordinate, not match exactly. Choose a color palette of 2-3 complementary colors and dress in layers and textures for visual interest. Avoid large logos, busy patterns, and neon colors. Neutral tones (cream, beige, sage, dusty blue) photograph beautifully in outdoor Bay Area locations. I'm always happy to review outfit choices before your session — just send me photos and I'll give you honest feedback!

How quickly will I receive my photos?

You'll receive a sneak peek of 3-5 images within 24-48 hours after your session! Your full gallery of professionally edited photos is typically delivered within 5-10 business days. All images come in high-resolution digital format, perfect for printing and sharing. I also offer professional-quality prints, canvases, albums, and holiday cards through my pro photo lab — all available directly through your online gallery.

What's your cancellation and rescheduling policy?

Life happens! You can reschedule your session up to 48 hours before with no penalty. For weather-related issues (San Francisco fog, unexpected rain), we'll find a new date that works for everyone — I never rush through a session due to weather. I want your photos to be perfect! A non-refundable deposit of 100 secures your session date and time, with the remaining balance due on the day of your shoot.

Still have questions? I'd love to hear from you!
